TAP SF Presents: Second Harvest Food Bank

Come join TAP-SF at Second Harvest Food Bank for volunteering to help out the hungry. We will be sorting and packaging food for one of the largest food banks in the nation, established in 1974, providing food to nearly a quarter of a million people each month. Space is limited to 15 volunteers.

Arrival (Please be on time!)
We truly value your time and strive to start your volunteer experience as scheduled. Please plan to arrive no sooner than 10 minutes before and no later than 10 minutes after the event start time. ( we are unable to accommodate late arrivals as registration closes 30 minutes past the schedule sorting shift time.)

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable volunteer experience, please read all items below.

Dress code:
- Casual and comfortable. 
- No shorts and no tank tops are permitted. 
- Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. 
- Please leave all valuables in the trunk of your cars. 
- No purses or backpacks.

Donations:
Second Harvest Food Bank is encouraging volunteers to donations of non-perishable food items. High protein items such as tuna and peanut butter are greatly appreciated or meals in a can like stew and soups. One can or one case does make a difference!
