Visually manifest aspirations for the new year by creating a still life using 2 point perspective. Drawing in perspective is a simple way to imagine how something real or hypothetical would look like in 2-D space.
We will be led step-by-step by a local Taiwanese-American art teacher to create a pencil and ink drawing. To create your own personalized artwork, feel free to bring in objects that represent things you’d like to see this upcoming year.
About the Teacher:
Frances Kao (she/they) is a Bay Area native and holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Currently, Frances teaches painting and drawing (and woodworking and PE!) at a middle school in Palo Alto.
Your ticket price includes materials (including paper, a boxed set of colored pencils, Micron pen, and drafting triangle to take home) and teaching fee. Click here to see the sample drawing in more detail.
** Note: results may vary but they will all be beautiful! **
